About The Job
The Legal Advocate will report to the Director of Victim Services and will work with victims and survivors of domestic violence in the Mid-Shore area of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. This is a full-time, in-person position (40 hours per week) covering 3 Mid-Shore Counties.

About The Job

Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent – degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, or related degree is preferred.
- Experience working in the legal system and/or with law enforcement is preferred.
- Must have own transportation.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to speak both English and Spanish is a plus Position Responsibilities
- Direct client work.
- Assisting with the completion of legal forms.
- Assisting clients in writing victim impact statements.
- Accompanying clients to court appearances.
