**Job Description:**

Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-start checks for all production lines, ensuring equipment and processes meet safety and quality standards.
- Perform hourly inspections throughout the production process to maintain quality control.
- Document findings meticulously and contribute to comprehensive post-production reports.
- Train team members on quality assurance practices and procedures for consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards.
- Monitor critical control points and make corrections to prevent deviations.
- Perform and document regular audits of processes, procedures, and quality systems.
- Manage corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
- Train and support production staff on quality control measures.
- Oversee sanitation processes to maintain a hygienic manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in quality assurance within the food industry is essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for food and manufacturing, with a commitment to product excellence.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a food quality technician position.
- Proven experience working with GMP and SQF certified facilities.
- Strong background in regulatory compliance and food safety.
- Exceptional documentation skills with high attention to detail.
- Understanding of sanitation processes within the food industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours and commit to second or mid shift schedules.
