Floral Designer

Overview
We are seeking a contractual creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern floral design and a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring that our arrangements meet the highest standards of beauty and quality. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Responsibilities

• Contractually Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations.
• Communicate effectively with team leads and customers to understand our clients floral needs.
• Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and availability.
• Assist with landscape maintenance as needed, providing additional services to clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow on event site.
• Stay updated on floral design trends and techniques to enhance creativity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, skills in foreign language is equally highly valuable.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly demeanor.
• A passion for flowers and design, along with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Available to travel locally between venues for installations in Baltimore, Virginia, and Washington D.C.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
