The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist provides direct support services to individuals receiving care in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP). This position focuses on helping clients develop skills to improve daily functioning, manage mental health symptoms, and achieve greater independence in personal, social, and vocational domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Rehabilitation Support:
- Assist clients in developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Provide one-on-one and group support focused on improving life skills, coping mechanisms, and emotional regulation.
- Client Advocacy and Support:
- Facilitate access to community resources such as housing, education, and employment services.
- Act as a liaison between clients and external service providers when necessary.
- Skill Development:
- Teach clients essential skills such as time management, stress reduction, and social interaction.
- Support clients in managing daily tasks, including self-care, budgeting, and vocational skills.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with clinicians, therapists, and other members of the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and supervision as required.
MUST BE CERTIFIED CPRP, CFPF or LMSW
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
