We are seeking an experienced RN to work with Marymount Manor as our Assistant Director of Nursing ( ADON ).

- $6000 bonus - paid incrementally quarterly over the first year working FT hours
In this role, you will support the DON in helping to manage the nursing department, assist with admissions, charting, and training among other duties. This is a role that works actively on the floor and shares On-Call rotation coverage with other assigned nurses.
ADON - RN Responsibilities
- Work with DON to help manage nursing department staffing
- Review daily admissions
- Share in On-Call coverage rotation with other assigned nurses
- Review insurance, medication, Medicare, Medicaid details for compliance with policies and regulations
- Conduct in-service and education among nursing staff
- Participate in medical reviews of new and existing residents as level of care may change
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings like care plans with families, MDS, Quality Improvement, IDT, Medicare Review as well as other meetings as directed
- Complete chart audits to ensure proper documentation of resident care
- Willingness to help cover open shifts when needed

ADON - RN Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse License (Missouri)
- Working knowledge of general nursing services, rehabilitation, therapy, supervision and resident centered care.
- Knowledge of medications, actions and reactions as well as use of general medical equipment.
- Long-Term Care experience a plus
- 1-3 years prior management experience a plus
- Knowledge of state regulations for LTC/SNF a plus
- Working knowledge of MDS regulations
- Prior experience with admissions is a plus
