Marymount Manor - Night Shift 7p-7a
Special opportunity for an LPN looking for On-Call Nurse Supervisor responsibility/bonus, while fulfilling night shift duties when not on call, for our facility located at Marymount Manor in Eureka, MO.
LPN On-Call Nurse Supervisor must be able to:
- Work night shift (7p-7a) and take ON CALL rotation (every other week or every 2 weeks)
- Have reliable transportation to Eureka, MO
- Answer On-Call phone and find staffing as needed
- Work as needed when staffing is unavailable
- Willing to work as nurse, cmt or cna as needed when staffing is unavailable
LPN On-Call Nurse Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Current and valid Missouri LPN license is REQUIRED.
- Thorough knowledge of Missouri State regulations for Assisted Living facilities.
- Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia is a plus.
- Be a self-starter and able to work independently.
- Experience in staff member relations including training and development.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
- Ensure that your staff are following care plans.
- Chart on all residents under your care.
- Work within the scope of your license.
- Assist in the dining room during meal times as needed.
- Responsible for all nursing care of all residents during his/her shift.
- Supervision of the nursing department and performance of staff assigned to his/her zone or hall including nursing assistants and medication aid.
- Take verbal and written orders from medical personnel and transcribe, note and follow up on the orders and document the nursing notes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
