LPN - On Call Facility Nurse - Night Nurse

LPN On-Call Facility Nurse- Marymount Manor - Night Shift

Special opportunity for an LPN looking for On-Call Facility Nurse responsibility/bonus, while fulfilling night shift duties when not on call, for our facility located at Marymount Manor in Eureka, MO.

LPN On-Call Facility Nurse must be able to:

• Work night shift (7p-7a) and take ON CALL rotation (every other week or every 2 weeks)
• Have reliable transportation to Eureka, MO
• Answer On-Call phone and find staffing as needed
• Work as needed when staffing is unavailable
• Willing to work as nurse, cmt or cna as needed when staffing is unavailable

Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) Responsibilities:

• Current and valid Missouri LPN license is REQUIRED.
• Thorough knowledge of Missouri State regulations for Assisted Living facilities.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia is a plus.
• Be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Experience in staff member relations including training and development.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
• Ensure that your staff are following care plans.
• Chart on all residents under your care.
• Work within the scope of your license.
• Assist in the dining room during meal times as needed.
• Responsible for all nursing care of all residents during his/her shift.
• Supervision of the nursing department and performance of staff assigned to his/her zone or hall including nursing assistants and medication aid.
• Take verbal and written orders from medical personnel and transcribe, note and follow up on the orders and document the nursing notes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
