BASIC FUNCTION:
Marysville High School is seeking a qualified, experienced Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach. The successful candidates will have demonstrated competencies in the following areas:
• Will stress the fundamentals of the game (skill & strategy), conduct practices, and supervise games and transportation.
• Knowledge and competency related to care and prevention of athletic injuries, basic first aid and emergency procedures.
• Knowledge and competency in coaching theory and techniques in the sport being coached.
• Knowledge and competency in the rules and regulations of the sport, state, section, league, and district policies.
• Knowledge of psychology of the adolescent or child.
• Knowledge of the Code of Ethical Conduct.
