Job Summary
Lindhurst High School is seeking a qualified, experienced Head Varsity Wrestling Coach. The successful candidates will have demonstrated competencies in the following areas :
- Will stress the fundamentals of the game (skill & strategy), conduct practices, and supervise games and transportation.
- Knowledge and competency related to care and prevention of athletic injuries, basic first aid and emergency procedures.
- Knowledge and competency in coaching theory and techniques in the sport being coached.
- Knowledge and competency in the rules and regulations of the sport, state, section, league, and district policies.
- Knowledge of psychology of the adolescent or child.
- Knowledge of the Code of Ethical Conduct.
