Maryville is seeking an Part-Time Weekend Admissions Coordinator who will be responsible for the duties listed below for our weekend coverage; however other duties may be assigned.
Work Schedule: 9:00am - 4:00pm Saturday & Sunday
Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates will have proven experience building relationships with various community members. Admissions or marketing experience in a healthcare or similar setting is preferred. Social services background is strongly desired. Candidates should have an understanding of Medicare and Med Advantage plans.

Responsibilities:
- Must be able to build relationships in order to work with community members during the admission process.
- Communicates effectively with referral sources, physicians, RN/Case Managers, insurance companies, patients and families.
- Assist with arrangements and confirmation of admissions. Arrangements include obtaining financial and clinical information and communicating internally to other departments. Works closely with and takes direction from the weekday admissions coordinator.
- Conducts tours of the facility for prospective residents whether walk-ins or scheduled tours.
- Tracks pre-admission referral activity daily by maintaining contact with RN/Case Managers at hospitals.
- Communicates and coordinates move-in with other departments at Maryville ensuring transition is smooth and rooms are move-in ready.
- Prepares and completes admission paperwork and administers with families or residents before or upon admission.
- Performs secretarial duties as necessary by covering breaks for the front desk staff.
