Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining responsibility for performance of all sales activities within an assigned territory.
- Establishing and strategically building a solid customer base.
- Recruiting, training, and motivating a sales team toward hitting specific sales goals.
- Setting team goals and conducting quarterly performance reviews with all team members.
- Driving sales through the growth of existing clients.
- Generating new business opportunities.
- Mastering how to get construction leads and implementing a lead generation strategy.
- Developing new relationships within the commercial construction community.
- Mastering the construction sales process at their company.
- Ability to perform all aspects of selling / closing a project.
- Reviewing and interpreting project plans and specifications to determine total costs.
- Analyzing data and factors like labor, materials, equipment, and location to prepare detailed estimates.
- Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and bids.
- Working alongside project managers and engineering teams to refine estimates and budgets.
- Completing take-offs to gather information for bids.
- Understanding and navigating building codes.
- Designing solutions for customer’s problems.
- Attending Prebid meetings.
- Manually measuring and inspecting site specific conditions.
- Understanding products and installation of products and services.
- Outgoing, professional personality who enjoys the sales process.
- Detailed knowledge of construction projects.
- Ability to manage financial aspects of projects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle financial reporting and compliance.
- Extensive knowledge of building material.
- Understanding the project requirements.
- Ability to analyze data and interpret plans.
- Familiarity with market prices and regulatory standards.
- Skill in preparing accurate cost estimates.
