Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, providing excellent service, and ensuring the bar area is well-maintained.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about drink selections.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing basic math skills for sales processing.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Stay updated on current trends in the food industry, including new drink recipes and brewing techniques.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to enhance customer interactions.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
