Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our team at a busy restaurant in the heart of [City]. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, offering a warm and friendly smile.
- Take food and drink orders in a timely and efficient manner, using a cash register system.
- Provide attentive and knowledgeable service, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.
- Prepare and serve food and drinks with precision and care.
- Manage tables effectively, ensuring prompt and courteous service to all guests.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, floors, and restrooms.
- Manage the flow of tables and ensure timely bussing and clearing of dishes.
- Utilize the Aloha POS system to process orders and manage tables.
- Demonstrate basic math skills to handle cash and credit transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure seamless service.

Experience:

- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, but not necessary.
- Must have experience with food handling and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
- Strong hospitality skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Prior experience with the Aloha POS system is an asset, but training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 35 per week
