GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for primary assembly for electrical control panels used in a variety of mining and aggregates production equipment. Level I
assembly technician will be responsible for mounting of components, wiring of power and control circuits within the control panels using
computer aided assembly instructions and knowledge of control panel assembly methods and processes of the company. Basic
understanding of electrical wiring and experience with light mechanical assembly a plus for this position.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Basic computer and software navigation capability
- Ability to follow oral, text based and graphic based work instructions swiftly and accurately
- Ability to use various hand tools including screw drivers, pliers, files, drills and other light mechanical assembly equipment
- Fine motor skills and ability to work with small components and accurately place wires and devices in small areas of a workspace
- Continuous drive to learn and grow as an individual and technician
- Strong motivation to improve processes and work methods continuously
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Good visual acuity.
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch and stoop to perform various functions of the position.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends if requested.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Must have excellent attendance history.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Physical Requirements:
o This position is typically in a manufacturing setting and requires standing for long periods of time. Requires good hand-eye
coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp. Ability to manipulate (carry, lift, move) objects weighing up to
