What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Masaba Inc?
Primary responsibilities include:
- The support of production and assembly teams by insuring that all components and consumables are pulled from the warehouse and delivered to the production areas
- Loading and unloading all LTL trucks
- Check condition and verify count of material being received
- Data entry of inventory receipts into inventory management system
- Closing of parts/warranty orders in ERP (enterprise resource planning) system
- Issuing of purchased material to work orders
- Assist in quarterly inventory counts
- Deliver all sheet steel and out-of-house components to appropriate staging areas for manufacturing team leads
- Coordination of shipping process for outbound parts/warranty order fulfillment (gather, organize, ship)
- Assist paint personnel with the delivery of small parts to and from the paint shop
- Store distribute and account for all shop tools and consumable items
- Keep the production floor and yard organized
