What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Financial Controller position at Masada?
The Financial Controller manages all accounting operations, including supervising staff performing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. They ensure compliance with internal policies/procedures and federal, state, county, and local regulations. This role also involves conducting quality control checks on financial transactions. Other key duties involve coordinating external audits for regulatory compliance, managing financial communications, and preparing financial statements and reports, including grant reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders. The Financial Controller is expected to exercise independent professional judgment and discretion in the leadership of assigned staff, and to demonstrate a commitment to the services and values of Masada. The position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Competitive Salary: $110,000-$125,000 per year.
