- Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex datasets using advanced analytical techniques to uncover actionable insights.
- Design, build, and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that empower customers to fully leverage the platform.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative customer data to identify trends, provide recommendations, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain a repository of standardized and customizable reporting templates to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with various departments—such as marketing, sales, product, and operations—to understand business needs and align data projects with organizational goals.
- Perform both ad-hoc and comprehensive analyses, translating findings into actionable insights for business leaders.
- Partner with technical teams to address data gaps, enhance data quality, and improve reporting capabilities.
- Design, develop, optimize, and deploy both traditional machine learning and deep learning algorithms, models, and applications.
- Implement forecasting techniques to predict construction project timelines, with an emphasis on reducing days under construction for new homes.
- Develop and implement machine learning models to extract deeper insights from the data.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a data analytics role with a strong foundation in problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, including statistical methods, data manipulation, and pattern identification.
- A self-starter capable of devising and testing hypotheses, implementing research plans, and identifying the right questions to ask.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with teams in marketing, sales, product, and operations to drive data-driven decisions.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience in predictive analytics, including predictive modeling, machine learning, or forecasting methods.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Advanced Excel skills, including expertise with macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
- Proven experience developing solutions utilizing Data Lakes and working with Cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology.
- Experience in the home construction industry is preferred.
