Medical Director - $326k

Brunswick, VA

Our client is seeking a Medical Director with preference for Internal Medicine,

Emergency Medicine, or similar specialty to join their team. In this role, you will be

responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients while working both

independently and collaboratively with other members of the correctional facility. Strong

diagnostic, leadership, and communication skills are essential for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Independently resolve complex medical issues and provide leadership to
  
  
  

clinical staff

• Provide clinical direction to the Health Services unit within the facility
• Coordinate coverage of independent practitioners and extenders
• Oversee medical staff meetings, peer reviews, and clinical competency
  
  
  

assessments

• Supervise the Interdisciplinary Team’s care delivery, including evaluations
  
  
  

and treatment plans

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits

• $173k - $326k, plus sign-on bonus
• Up to $10k student loan repayment

Requirements

• BC/BE in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Current Virginia State Medical license or willing to obtain
