Description / Comment:
We are seeking a Cardiac Surgery Inpatient Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide care to pre- and post-cardiac surgery patients in the ICU, CVU, and inpatient units, in close collaboration with the cardiac surgeon. The position includes 3 shifts per week, each 13 hours long, with rotating weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery, both pre- and post-operatively.
Work collaboratively with cardiac surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
Manage patient care in ICU, CVU, and inpatient units.
Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, with specialization in Cardiovascular or related fields preferred.
Relevant experience in cardiac surgery or intensive care settings is highly desirable.
Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating weekends
Salary : $109,900 - $142,200
