Full job description
The Healthcare Provider Relations Representative will initiate and sustain relationships with physicians and their respective staff. This role provides and reviews utilization / performance reports and quality measures / care gaps report routinely with providers and ancillary staff. The overall goal is to promote value-based care. Individual will also provide leadership with intel on strategic market development, identify strategic opportunities through utilization of data and market research.
Must have a healthcare background (Medical Assistant (Preferred), LPN (Preferred), or have been practicing in healthcare related to this role.
Experienced with the healthcare insurance industry a MUST. (HMO / PPO / ACO / Medicare Advantage / IPA)
Must have experience in driving healthcare business development, physician relations, and / or network development.
Must develop and maintain relationships with provider network, vendors, and other partners.
Ability to analyze data to identify trends and variance from goals.
Conducts face-to-face visits with physicians and practices, educates staff / providers on utilization and performance reports, reviews KPI reports, and reviews quality measures and care gaps reports.
Must be proficient with MS Office i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education :
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience :
Healthcare Related Provider Relations : 2 years (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate :
Trinity, FL : Relocate before starting work (Required)
