Locum General Dentist - $125 per Hour

Champaign, Illinois

New grads welcome!

We are seeking a locum general dentist for our Out-Patient Clinic. We provide affordable, family-friendly dental care in a range of services, including general dentistry, orthodontic treatments, and preventive dentistry.

Scheduling

  • 13 week assignment with the option to extend up to 6 months. Ongoing until perm dentist is hired.
  • Shift details : 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, Saturdays 9am-4pm
  • Schedule : 5 days per week ideally, with one Saturday every other week.
  • Part-time candidates welcome
  • Credentialing (2-4 weeks)

Requirements

  • Required Procedures : Bread and Butter Dentistry - extractions, full / partial dentures, crowns & general dentistry including cleanings
  • Implant restoration and Wave One Endo preferred
  • Active IL license without restrictions
  • Certifications Required : BLS, DEA, CSR
  • Enrollment in Medicaid - Required (can help enroll if needed)

    • Position Details

  • Procedures : Bread and Butter Dentistry - Fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns / bridges, full / partial dentures.
  • Implant restoration and Wave One Endo preferred
  • 17-20 patients daily on average; all ages
  • Medicaid heavy population
  • Support Staff : 2 DAs per provider
  • 3 dental chairs
  • EMR : Denticon

    • Compensation

  • 125 per hour
  • Travel and Lodging coverage
  • Malpractice insurance covered
