What you will do
Reporting to the President of BrassCraft, the Vice President, Engineering & Product Management you will be responsible for leading the new and existing product strategy, innovation and program management to deliver on both BrassCraft's strategic and financial goals for driving product development from idea, through procurement, and to execution. In this pivotal role, you will lead the daily management of the product lifecycle, engineering, product & program management, and quality assurance. You will lead a team, collaborate closely with all internal teams, and provide direction to ensure the execution of our product roadmap, increase our competitive market position, drive business growth, reduce risk, and improve product quality and on-time delivery.
How you will do it
Product Strategy and Roadmap :
- Collaborate with Category Management on development of comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that is aligned with BrassCraft's business goals and customer needs.
- Lead in implementation of product strategy to meet business objectives based on defined goals.
- Using data from market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence, partner with vendors to identify capabilities to support product innovation, prioritize key features, and deliver market differentiation to drive maximum value to our customers.
- Provide clear and concise communication to both technical and non-technical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of product goals and priorities.
- Engage with strategic customers as a thought leader in the industry related to consumer trends, innovation, and product selection strategies.
- Create and maintain alignment of functional leaders, senior management, and external partners to drive results.
