What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician position at Masco?
Sauna360 Inc, a Watkins Wellness / Masco company, would love you to join our dynamic team as a CAD Technician. You will support Sales in the design process utilizing software design tools and documentation protocols; support manufacturing for manufacturing room construction drawings and cut sheets; and support materials with component drawing for vendors. Starting wage is between $21 - $23 per hour.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- With minimum supervision, directly support Sales CAD by drawing 2D Top View Floor plans for sauna room layout
- Quality and accuracy of drawings is very important to include reviewing your own drawings.
- Advise Sales on correct sauna room layout concepts
- Create drawing using company and AutoCAD Standards
- Create 2D Elevation View for sauna room
- Create drawings for interior walls, ceilings, and benches to include BOM for rooms, down to component level
- Assist with shop drawings and cut sheets for production.
- Work with Sales, Sauna Production Manager and CAD Supervisor to suggest changes for product and process improvements to quality, reduce cycle times and / or correct nonconformities.
- Provide regular, consistent, and timely attendance
- Maintains all aspects of workplace organization to include cleanliness and organization of work area.
- Other duties as assigned by the CAD Supervisor
