POSITION SUMMARY :
Are you looking for a hands-on role at a great company? We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Strategic Pricing Manager to join our team. The Strategic Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and facilitating our pricing strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive analysis, and statistical modeling.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems, and is motivated to implement innovative ways to do things better. You'll thrive if you are highly organized, driven, a self-starter, and analytical with strong attention to detail.
This role will report to the VP, Finance and is a hybrid role based out of Novi, MI.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Product Management, and Sales understanding market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives
- Leverage industry knowledge and statistical skills to create insights and opportunities
- Gain a deep understanding of customer pricing motivations, including shelf pricing strategies, gross-to-net and expected margins
- Translate complex data into actionable strategies to drive sales and improve marketing efforts.
- Develop tools, processes to operationalize the pricing strategy, this will include piloting new methods / tools through targeted experimentation
- Conduct pricing analysis and optimize pricing structures.
- Lead through advanced statistical modeling methods and tools to demonstrate the potential impact of various pricing strategies
- Conduct what-if scenarios and advise decision-makers based on the results
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies and procedures
