Detailed job description:
Process Improvement: Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas
of waste, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
Data Analysis: Utilize statistical tools and techniques to analyze process data, identify trends, and
make informed recommendations for improvement.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of process improvement activities,
results, and lessons learned.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure
that improvements are integrated into standard operating procedures.
Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the
success of process improvement initiatives.
Project Management: Lead and manage process improvement projects from inception to
completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Training and Mentoring: Conduct training sessions on Lean and Six Sigma concepts for
employees at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and empowerment.
Mandatory Skills and requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related
field.
Certification in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma (Black Belt or Green Belt) is highly
preferred.
7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on Lean and Six Sigma
methodologies.
Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing
challenges.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse
teams.
