Job Summary:
The New Supplier Introduction Specialist will be responsible for the strategic identification,qualification, and onboarding of new suppliers to enhance our supply chain capabilities.
This role requires collaboration across multiple departments to ensure that supply chain metrics and quality standards are achieved. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end process of supplier introduction, from initial assessment through to integration into our procurement system.
Detailed job description: ∙Supplier Identification and Qualification - Research and identify potential suppliers in alignment with company needs ∙Supplier Evaluation and Auditing - Organize and conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with company standards. ∙Onboarding Process - Facilitate the onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. ∙Interdepartmental Collaboration - Work closely with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment on supplier expectations and integration. ∙Continuous Improvement - Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide feedback for continual improvement. ∙Documentation and Reporting - Maintain accurate records of supplier evaluations, audits, and onboarding processes.
Mandatory Skills and requirements: ∙Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. ∙Minimum of [8-10] years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain operations. ∙Strong understanding of supplier evaluation methodologies and quality standards. ∙Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. ∙Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with procurement software is a plus. ∙Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. ∙Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
