Freehold Mitsubishi is seeking a detail-oriented and organized DMV Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the title and license plates processing department, ensuring that all documents related to motor vehicle transactions are accurately prepared and processed. This position requires a strong understanding of state of New Jersey Motor Vehicle laws as well as other out of state basic rules and regulations knowledge, excellent research skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process title and plate documents for our clients, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and updates in the title database.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries from clients and assisting them throughout the title process.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to title documents in a timely manner.
- Work closely with auto auctions and other wholesale sellers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in title processing field is required.
- Strong understanding of NJ MVC laws and regulations.
- Excellent research skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using Dealertrack.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
