DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Minimum of 3 years of Sheet Metal experience required.
- Ability to trim and shape sheet metal using shears and saws
- Ability to secure components with rivets, welding, or adhesives
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations like fractions and angles
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, such as snips, drills, grinders, and rivet guns
- Knowledge about PPE and safe working practices, including safely lifting, transporting, and positioning sheet metal pieces
SOFT SKILLS
- Attention to detail
- Communication and collaboration skills
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines
- Physical ability to regularly stand, lift, and work in tight spaces
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic HVAC knowledge
- Ductwork installation knowledge
