What are the responsibilities and job description for the A/V Services Technician position at Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise?
Under the direction of the Audio/Visual Services Supervisor, the incumbent provides complete audio/visual technical support for events property-wide. High school diploma required or equivalent with one (1) year of related experience. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnights, and weekends. Must possess working knowledge of computerized sound and lighting equipment, production camera and video switchers, RF and cable television, video, video aspect ratios and video formats including HDTV and all types of projector and display units. Experience working in a meeting center / hotel environment handling professional presentation equipment. Knowledge of operation, use and terminology related to sound reinforcement, video, lighting and audio/visual methods, materials and devices. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain a professional attitude while working under pressure and meet deadlines with a constantly changing event schedule. Environment is an indoor/outdoor commercial atmosphere with pedestrian traffic that is noisy and often crowded.
