What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Tech Field Services position at Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise?
Under the direction of the Manager of Field Services, the incumbent is responsible for the day to day operations within the Field Services Department which include but are not limited to: Oversight of all Field Service Technicians, assist with break fix and Moves/Adds/Changes, assignment of tasks using the current service management software, review of all tasks and incidents to ensure accurate completion, oversee the training of Technicians, assists in inventorying IT related equipment and supplies, prepares IT equipment to be retired and scrapped, manages equipment in the MIS storage locations, provides management with equipment types that must be purchased for replacement devices, interact with IT personnel to ensure all documentation and instructions are up to date and accurate. Associates degree in Computer Science with one year of experience in an IT related field required or equivalent experience of three years in an IT related field required; previous supervisory experience preferred. Must have knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Desktop Architecture, End-User Devices, CATV/Video Distribution, Basic Networking, Basic Avaya site administration and telco management of analog digital and voice over IP phones. Experience with Javelin, Point of Sale and Gaming Systems preferred. Connecticut Driver's License. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
