What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Management Attendant position at Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise?
Under the supervision of the Materials Management Supervisor, the incumbent processes and delivers requisitions submitted to the Warehouse. Receives items and verifies that goods meet requirements of the purchase order or market list. High school diploma or GED and one-year experience preferred. Must be able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, reach lifts and other equipment used in Warehouse operations within six months of being hired. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form. May occasionally be required to type and operate basic computer software applications. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move and/or lift up to 100 pounds.
