What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Ambassador - Fox Tower position at Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise?
Under the direction of the Beverage Shift Supervisor, the Server Ambassador ensures guests receive outstanding guest service per standards. Interacts and entertains guests in a cordial and gracious manner, thereby creating a memorable experience and building guest loyalty. Serves as Goodwill Ambassador, using finesse and good judgment. Provides bar guests with drink service. Takes customer orders, serves orders and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner. Poses for photographs with Entertainers and Guests upon request. Poses for marketing materials. Enthusiastically and knowledgably promotes Foxwoods events, services and merchandise. This is considered a high profile entertainment marketing position. Maintains quality services standards with all guests by creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere while visiting the guests' table, bar, and coordinating service requests. The primary responsibility is to ensure excellent guest experiences are maintained at all times. In joining our team, you commit to supporting this mission by demonstrating our Customer Service Standards at all times. Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of one (1) year experience in a high-volume beverage environment required; two (2) years or more preferred. Tips or Smart certification is preferred. Previous food and beverage/cocktail service required. Previous experience working in a nightclub and/or entertainment venue is preferred. Required to be well groomed, toned body and physically attractive. Must be comfortable presenting this look while wearing the specified apparel. Current and/or previous modeling experience preferred. Must possess an enthusiastic, courteous, graceful and positive attitude. Must demonstrate the ability to wear specified apparel with flair and techniques associated with modeling industry requirements. Posture, gestures, movement and walking should reflect the innovative fashion industry esthetics. Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all guest and business contacts. Must be able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. Must have the ability to understand beverage requests, ask questions regarding its preparation if unclear and assure the guests¿ satisfaction. The Server Ambassador is regularly required to lift/carry/pull/push weights over 30 pounds. Must be flexible with work schedule. Working during weekends, holidays and peak business periods is required, including working any shift/day designated by the Food and Beverage department. Must be able to work at a fast pace for a minimum of 8 hours.
