What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valet Parking Attendant position at Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise?
Under the supervision of the Transportation Shift Manager, the incumbent parks and retrieves automobiles for patrons in a prompt and courteous fashion. High school diploma or GED required. Must possess a valid drivers' license from the state in which you reside with one year driving experience. Must be able to operate automatic and standard shift vehicles. Must provide a copy of drivers' license abstract from DMV at time of interview. Drivers' license abstract must be deemed satisfactory by management prior to being offered a position. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills needed to interact with guests and employees. Position requires extended periods of standing and running 95% of the time and ability to frequently get in and out of vehicles. Must be in good physical condition with no medical limitations that will not permit the employee to fulfill the physical demands of the position. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills required to interface with patrons, employees and management through telephone and personal communication. Must possess computer skills and the ability to resolve problems within department operational procedures.
