Our client in the Brattleboro VT area has an opening for a QC Technician. This temp to hire opportunity will have you working Monday – Friday 7am – 3 : 30pm or once trained you can choose, Tuesday - Friday, 10 hour shifts. The position offers $18 / hour and once hired on, the company offers a nice benefits package including health / vision / life / dental insurance, 401k with company match, as well as paid time off.
As the QC Technician you will be responsible for the following tasks including, but not limited to :
Inspection and verification of product conformance to specifications
Final check before shipping
Inspection of incoming product
Notifying Manager of any discrepancies
Ensure proper paperwork and identification for product
Calibrating in house tools / gauges
Destructive testing as required
Maintain safe work environment and follow safety policies
Other duties as assigned
Your Skills / Qualifications for the QC Technician position :
High School Diploma
Knowledge of micrometer, caliper, and scale use
Basic computer skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast pace environment managing multiple shifting priorities under deadline
Must be able to sit for long periods throughout the shift
