About The Role
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Superintendent to oversee commercial and industrial HVAC installations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing field operations, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high-quality workmanship while prioritizing safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate HVAC installations for commercial and industrial projects.
- Lead and manage field crews, ensuring productivity and adherence to project schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittals to ensure proper installation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to maintain project efficiency.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, material logs, and change orders.
- Train and mentor field personnel to enhance skill development and job performance.
- Coordinate equipment and material deliveries to prevent project delays.
- Enforce company safety policies and participate in safety meetings.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC installations.
- Prior experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or Lead Technician is required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and controls.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- HVAC certifications or licenses preferred (EPA, OSHA 30, etc.).
