We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead and oversee all phases of complex programs, ensuring execution aligns with business objectives, financial targets, and contractual commitments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional management capabilities in a fast-paced environment with executive-level interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead program execution, ensuring adherence to plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage financial performance, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and P&L oversight.
- Develop and implement program growth strategies, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and business expansion initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, prime contractors, and industry partners.
- Establish and lead cross-functional teams across finance, supply chain, operations, and quality.
- Identify and resolve program challenges, implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct internal and external executive briefings on program performance and strategic direction.
- Oversee staffing and resource allocation to meet business and financial milestones.
- Direct internal reviews, contract negotiations, and program startup efforts.
- Travel as required, up to 25%.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in program management, overseeing cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and government contract management.
- Expertise in Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes, engineering development, integration, production, and sustainment.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field and a minimum of 14 years of experience.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance required.
Additional Notes:
- Preferred experience in leading classified programs, strategic planning, and customer relationship management.
- Program Management Certification (e.g., PMP, EVMS) is a plus.
- Experience in Nuclear Command & Control (NC3) programs and managing large-scale government contracts is highly desirable.
- Work is primarily in an office environment, with occasional travel to locations requiring specific PPE or attire.
