We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Property Manager at our affordable family housing complex in Townsend, MA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of property, including:
- Fostering positive relationships with staff, residents, vendors, and associated agencies
- Collecting rent on time
- Managing affordable waiting lists and vacancies
- Processing timely and accurate move-ins, move-outs, and recertifications
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal program regulations
- Completing annual unit inspections and monthly building inspections
- Resolving resident issues and conflicts in a timely manner
To be successful in this role, you would have:
- 2 years of experience as a manager for affordable housing or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Knowledgeable about affordable housing programs, including federally assisted, and all State and local housing regulations
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Experience with business computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and online database systems
- Solid administrative, organizational, computer, marketing skills, and resident relations skills
- Excellent customer service skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and work independently with attention to details
- Must be able to pass a CORI background check
