Responsibilities of the Logistics Operator

• Verify delivery notes against materials received

• Load trucks according to shipment schedules

• Ensure Shipping BOLs are signed by transport drivers prior to departure

• Operate a fork truck to unload, relocate, and load materials

• Weigh all incoming materials and accurately record weights

• Label each unit with a lot number before relocating materials in the warehouse

• Maintain organization within the warehouse and ensure safety and tidiness

• Communicate inventory information to the Plant Operations Manager
  

Requirements of the Logistics Operator

• High School Education

• Proficient in verbal and written English communication

• Experienced fork truck operator

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

• Quality aware and outcome-focused

• Effective stress management and organizational skills

• Ability to take initiative and adapt quickly
  

Compensation/Benefits for the Logistics Operator
