Responsibilities of the Quality manager:
- Quality Manager directly manages Quality employees, inspectors, and staff over three shifts
- Work with Production and Engineering to develop processes and tools to improve internal yield and reduce scrap throughout the facility.
- Establish and implement quality practices consistent with operations and customer requirements.
- Utilize practical and advanced problem-solving techniques to lead team in root cause analysis and resolution of complex quality issues using Lean tools (5 Why, 8D, Fishbone diagrams, etc.).
- Responsible for the Corrective Action (Internal and External) program to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding quality expectations and swift resolution of issues and complaints.
- Develop audit programs and procedures for all levels of audit activity.
Requirements of a Quality Manager:
- 5yrs experience in Quality as well as a working knowledge of Manufacturing, Injection Molding, and/or Composites.
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a technical discipline.
- Thorough understanding of GD&T, familiarity with CMM programming and interpretation, and statistical methods
- Working knowledge of inspection and measurement tools (CMM, Calipers, Micrometers, Verniers, etc.)
- Strong knowledge and a demonstrated history of establishing and supporting ISO compliant quality systems and tools.
Compensation & Benefits of a Quality Manager:
7 am - 3:30 pm - Monday - Friday - $90K
