located in Londonderry NH, has been an industry leader in the design and fabrication of magnetic shields made from high permeability metal and sheet metal hydroforming. We’ve long developed trust and working partnerships with our customers who come to us because they know that we can analyze their issue then design and build a solution for their magnetic interference problems.
Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ability to use a variety of mechanical inspection equipment such as, CMM –Hexagon 7107, Sheffield Discovery 3, or similar, vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
- Knowledge of quality related software such as CMM- PC DMIS, InspectionXpert, and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with aerospace, military, and industrial specifications.
- Read and interpret customer and shop drawings, specifications, and inspection documentation.
Create PCDMIS inspection programs from 2D drawings or supplied CAD files.
- Interpret and apply GDT to inspection programs and reports.
- Determine CMM fixturing/restraining tools for product inspection.
- Effectively interact and communicate with entire team.
- Perform 1st Article Inspection (AS9102) and PPAP process based on customer requirements.
- Perform Final Inspection of completed products. Produce Final inspection report and data packages based on customer requirements.
- Responsible for the qualification, identification, and storage of all CMM fixturing, gages, and restraining tools.
Qualifications:
- High School/Trade School diploma.
- 2 year college technical degree preferred.
- 5 years minimum related experience in a machine shop/ sheet-metal fabrication shop.
- Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field, with a strong understanding of tooling processes.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with quality assurance principles, including ISO 13485 and AS9100 standards.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers for dimensional inspections.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to identify discrepancies in product specifications.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
