What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Processing position at Mason Brothers Company?
Mason Brothers is a grocery wholesaler that is looking for help in the meat processing department. The ideal candidate is familiar with retail cuts of meat, paper and computer record keeping, HACCP knowledge, SSOP's on sanitation, and USDA requirements. Employee must have good verbal communication skills and be a team player. The hours are Monday - Friday from 6:00am - 3:30pm.
As a Meat packing production worker, you will be responsible for:
- Cut Beef and Pork Primal's into retail cuts- Boneless & Bone-in, processing or packaging
- Wear protective equipment as provided
- USDA protocol must be followed daily
- Required:
- Lifting 40 pounds on a regular basis (sometimes up to 80 pounds)
- Organizing orders and inventory
- Great time management
- Good interpersonal skills
- Clean up- Sanitation
- Must have the ability to put in a good day's work
- Some overtime required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
