INTERIM ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL - John Adams Middle School
The Mason City Community School District has an immediate need for an Interim Associate Principal at John Adams Middle School. The Interim Principal will serve from January 2, 2025 through June 30, 2025. Salary based on qualifications.
Summary: Responsible for working directly with the building principal in maintaining a safe, secure, educational environment for staff and students, while assisting the principal by keeping them informed of observations and actions to assure a coordinated effort in the administration and supervision of the school. Responsible for the direction, coordination, and execution of educational and instructional leadership for all staff and students. Utilize leadership, supervisory, and administrative skills to promote educational excellence for the staff and students.
- MS/MA or Ed.S. degree in Educational Administration
- Iowa Administrator License with PK-12 Principal and Evaluator endorsements
- Ability to procure resources in support of school improvement efforts
- Ability to facilitate resources toward educational goals and mission
- Flexibility to easily adapt to changing work environments and assignments as needed
- Computer competency required - experience with multiple forms of technology preferred
