Mason Classical Academy is a K-12 public charter school in Naples, FL. Our mission is to provide a traditional education with a constant view towards developing exceptional American citizens.
We are seeking a full time, experienced Student Services Director who is motivated to further the mission of our school.
Duties
- Manage the school's ESE program, including the development of IEPs, 504s, and other ESE documentation.
- Monitor student progress and make recommendations as needed.
- Communicate with students, parents, and teachers to ensure accommodations are met and addressed in a timely manner.
- Conduct IEP meetings.
- Coordinate with school district to ensure compliance and student achievement.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience as a Student Services Coordinator or ESE Coordinator, preferably in Florida
- Knowledge of Florida Charter School and education statutes
- Knowledge of Florida and federal ESE requirements
- Understanding of course descriptions, course credits, course transfers and graduation requirements
- MS Office proficiency
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to compose concise, clear, and grammatically correct documents, including emails
- Florida Professional Certificate in Exceptional Student Education K-12
