POSITION PURPOSE:
To perform all shipping, return and receiving functions for our fulfillment centers.

To perform all shipping, return and receiving functions for our fulfillment centers.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
- Unload trucks and distribute product to be received in.
- Enter purchase order (P.O.) into the warehouse management system, scan product into the system and apply printed label onto the case to be put to bin.
- Perform audits to ensure the received items match the packing slip for quantity and correct item, send Quality Action Request (QAR) to Quality Control Department as needed and/or communicate with other departments as necessary for problem resolution.
- Open cases and scan product to bin; cut down boxes.
- Pick product from the bin or pallet, place correct picking label on the item and place on conveyor or deliver to packing area.
- Scan item into the warehouse management system to confirm correct pick and to obtain shipping label, place/pack item in the correct size box with the designated materials and seal package for shipment.
- Perform inventory control functions including adjustment of items into and out of inventory, problem resolution, cycle counting, correction of errors, etc.
- Process priority shipments, coordinate dock activities and work with carriers to assure they have proper documentation.
- Perform inventory cycle counts. Use RF equipment to scan items in bin for accountability and to maintain inventory accuracy.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate or equivalent, preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Work days are Monday-Friday; Some Saturday work is required but is typically only during our peak business times.
- Shifts available between the hours of 6:30 am and 4:30 pm.
- Variable/Flexible scheduling available.
- Requires continuous standing and frequent walking.
- Requires frequent twisting, stooping/bending at the waist and squatting.
- Requires normal hearing and sight on a continuous basis.
- Requires frequent reaching above shoulders, at shoulder height and below shoulders.
- Ability to manipulate objects on a continuous basis with one and/or both hands.
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with another person in a team lift.
- Must be able to frequently carry up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with another person in a team carry.
- Ability to frequently push and pull up to 35 pounds, with occasional heavy pushing and pulling of fully loaded carts and palletized items up to 40 pounds.
