- Journal entry posting: Recording daily transactions in the general ledger.
- Account reconciliation: Matching account balances to supporting documents and resolving discrepancies.
- Month-end close procedures: Performing necessary tasks to finalize financial reporting for each month.
- A/P and A/R management: Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Tax preparation assistance: Supporting with tax return calculations and filings.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Assisting in monitoring budget plans.
- Internal control compliance: Ensuring adherence to company accounting policies and procedures including maintaining vendor files and compliance with laws and regulations.

- Provide backup assistance to other accounting functions as necessary.
- Maintain a working knowledge of financial statements and reports.
- Assist with audits as necessary.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting or closely related field.
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or closely related field.
- Experience with various ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially in using Excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to maintain 100% confidentiality; including, but not limited to the sharing or release of information within the finance department and/or any co-worker who doesn’t have clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
