JOB SUMMARY:
Mason Companies is a family owned, multi-channel retailer looking for a User Experience (UX) Optimization Specialist to join our team. Mason Companies is ideal for individuals who are community focused, customer centric and forward thinking.
DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES:
1. Execute data-driven experimentation, personalization and product recommendations on Mason’s ecommerce websites to provide the best user experiences and continuously improve KPIs.
2. Use web analytics data and user research to diagnose issues, identify opportunities and form hypotheses regarding UX optimizations.
3. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to prioritize, plan and design tests that will prove or disprove your hypotheses.
4. Organize, QA and launch experiments to achieve our testing velocity target.
5. Monitor and analyze test results using a variety of metrics and tools.
6. Execute user research to learn more about our customers and find ways to optimize ecommerce flows and customer journeys.
7. Develop and conduct user research plans, leveraging a multitude of UX insights tools.
8. Summarize findings from both qualitative and quantitative sources into meaningful, actionable and prioritized insights.
9. Establish, document and champion recommendations for website enhancements based on your learnings.
10. Manage the relationships between Mason and our testing and UX insights partners.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is required.
2. Experience working in UX, A/B testing, web analytics or similar role(s) on ecommerce websites.
3. Experience gathering and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
4. Knowledge of UX best practices.
5. Familiarity with A/B testing platforms, such as Optimizely.
6. Familiarity with web analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics.
7. Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
