What are the responsibilities and job description for the PipeFitter/Welder position at Mason Engineering?
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as stick welding and plasma cutting.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding specifications.
- Operate power tools and hand tools to prepare materials for welding.
- Use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions.
- Inspect welds for quality and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
Welder & Pipefitter Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding.
- Proficient in stick welding and plasma cutting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Familiarity with basic math calculations.
- Gas-shielded arc welding
- Oxyacetylene welding
- Manual welding with coated electrodes
- Semi-automatic continuous wire welding (MIG/MAG)
- Shielded Arc Gas or TIG Welding (Tungsten Inert Gas)
- Experience using power tools and hand tools.
- Knowledge of crane operation for lifting heavy materials.
- Proficient in stick welding, plasma cutting, and soldering techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in welding.
- Familiarity with calipers and other measuring instruments for precise measurements.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to welding tasks.
