General Worker – Mason & Hamlin
Pay: $16.50–$18/hour - Pay Determined on Experience
Mason & Hamlin, one of America’s premier piano manufacturers, is seeking a diligent and versatile General Worker to join our team. This entry-level position plays a vital role in our production process, contributing to the creation of some of the world's finest pianos. Responsibilities:
- Assist in Production: Participate in various stages of piano manufacturing, including assembly, finishing, and quality control.
- Material Preparation: Use basic sander machinery to prepare the wood.
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials, move items between work areas, and ensure proper storage of products.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and handling materials.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for quality to ensure products meet our high standards.
- Communication Skills: Basic proficiency in reading and interpreting specifications or following verbal instructions.
- Experience: Prior experience in woodworking or machine operation is advantageous but not required.
