Mason is in search of a low voltage engineer and estimator with prior estimation experience in structured cabling and low voltage infrastructure. This is inclusive of copper (Cat6, 6a) cabling, fiber, equipment racks, and supporting hardware.

Mason is in search of a low voltage engineer and estimator with prior estimation experience in structured cabling and low voltage infrastructure. This is inclusive of copper (Cat6, 6a) cabling, fiber, equipment racks, and supporting hardware.
Skillset And Responsibilities
- Prior experience in estimating low voltage and/or structural voice/data cabling projects.
- Intimate knowledge of industry-standards for commercial low voltage (Cat 5/6/6A), fiber, and general infrastructure cabling and support systems.
- Ability to develop a bill of materials from a project takeoff, estimate material pricing, and estimate labor hours for turn-key proposal generation.
- Familiarity with floor plans, riser diagrams, elevations and detail drawings pursuant to low voltage trades.
- Proficiency in take-offs, length assessments, and material counts.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Quoting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to write a scope of work and system narrative.
- Ability to work independently, maintain records, and provide detailed updates to appropriate managers during the estimation process.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, maintain timelines and multi-task multiple concurrent opportunities
- RCDD and/or BICSI certifications is a plus.
- Experience with ConnectWise, quoting software, and/or similar ticketing system is a plus.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
