What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Caregiver position at Mason Valley Residence?
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement behavior management systems to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in your care
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals to thrive
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, therapists, and healthcare professionals
- Document and maintain accurate records of care provided
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks
- First aid and CPR certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with Dementia or Alzheimer's
- Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy principles

Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
